The Karachi Boat Club International Interschool Regatta (ISR) took place from 26 January to 4 February. Our 73-member Rowing Team competed with 519 participants from 28 leading schools. We secured 13 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 15 bronze medals. Our team secured the following awards:

U-18 Female Rower of the Regatta award – Azka Azhar & Maha Fahd
U-18 Male Rower of the Regatta award – Saif Malik
Special mentions to our captain, Syed Rayan Ahmed, who was nominated for ‘Male Rower of the Year’, and Shayan Aziz who was nominated for ‘Cox of the Year’.
C.A.S. won the regatta for the fourth time with an overall 164 points. The team would like to thank Ms Reem Ansari (Head, Department of Learning Modules) and our coaches, Mr Aneel Shahzad, Mr Mubaraz Ashraf and Mr Umer Allah Rakha; their Captain, Syed Rayan Ahmed and Vice-Captain, Eishal Ayesha for their encouragement and support.
