foreign languages programme (FLP)
French and German languages are offered to students of classes 7 to 11 as part of the Programme of Studies. This provides students the opportunity to learn and excel in a major foreign language of their choice. In addition, exposing them to a foreign language widens their intellectual canvas by generating an interest in history, other peoples, religions and cultures.
Students of Class 10 are offered a French language programme for the DELF-certified examination conducted by the Alliance Francaise, Karachi, and a German language programme for the B1-certified examination conducted by the Goethe-Institut, Karachi. German language students of classes 8 and 9 sit respectively for the Fit fuer Deutsch 1 and 2 examinations conducted by the Goethe-Institut, Karachi.
The C.A.S. School is also a PASCH School. C.A.S. students attend fully and partially sponsored German language camps in Germany, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The PASCH Programme was initiated by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Goethe-Institut to promote German as a foreign language worldwide.
