  • Starting in September 2017, eight students from Class 9 have been attending a theatre workshop conducted by Mr Fawad Khan, a director and actor. On 10 January, the workshop culminated in a performance by students on The Odd Couple by Neil Simon and Art by Yasmina Reza.
  • The Kindergarten Section Library has been renovated. Around 1900 books have been added, so that the children may enjoy a wide variety of reading material.
  • Ms Seema Yasir Qadri, Headmistress of the Senior Section, attended the Cambridge Schools Conference at the University of Cambridge (UK) in September 2017. The conference explored different ways schools can develop the students’ learning and growth.
  • We are proud to announce that the C.A.S. Girls Futsal team has won both the Southshore Inter-school Tournament and the Karachi Inter-school Sports League (KISSL) Tournament.
  • The Butterfly Conservation Club for students of Class 5, conducted by butterfly conservationist, Ms Shereen Abdullah, is a unique opportunity for students to connect to the natural world. It is a very popular programme.
  • On 17 November 2017, The C.A.S. School won first position in the National German Spelling Bee.
  • On 24 November 2017, Mr Lars Bergmeyer, Director of DAAD, a German Academic Exchange Service, talked to parents and students of Class 9 about higher education opportunities in Germany.
  • In October, three students of The C.A.S. School won medals at the National Junior Athletics Championship. Adina Nadeem Zuberi won gold in shot put, Hanna Iqil Naqvi won silver in high jump and Aariz Samdani won bronze in hammer throw.
